RIB COOK-OFF

Rib Cook-Off Information

Date: Saturday, May 25, 2024

Time: 6:00 am Master Cook Meeting, receive racks

Place: Bream Festival Pavilion/Grounds - Felsenthal

Entry Fee: $150.00 per team

Deadline: May 22, 2024 at 4:00pm

Prizes: 1st Place: $1000, 2nd Place: $500, 3rd Place: $300

**RIBS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE FELSENTHAL BREAM FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION**

Rule & Regulations

  1. NO GAS GRILLS WILL BE ELIGIBLE
  2. Entrants must provide their own equipment/supplies - Booth, BBQ grill, and/or stove, charcoal, sauces, etc.
  3. Participants are allowed to use charcoal, cooking wood, starter fluid/fuel, and sauces of their choosing.
  4. If electricity is needed, you must provide your own extension cord.
  5. You must provide your own water, as outdoor water faucets are limited.
  6. Spots will be assigned based on a first come, first serve basis.
  7. Entrants will be responsible for removing their own equipment and/or booth. You are responsible for keeping your area clean, and for cleanup after cook-off has ended.
  8. DO NOT DUMP ANY GREASE, LIQUIDS, COALS, ETC. ON THE GROUNDS!
  9. DO NOT DUMP HOT COALS IN TRASH CANS OR ON THE GROUNDS!
  10. All ribs must be cooked at your designated cook site.
  11. Equipment can be set up Friday evening, orbefore 6:00am on Saturday.
  12. Ribs will be available at 6:00am.
  13. 2:30 pm Ribs are to be done, and presented for judging.
  14. Pork or Beef link saugage of the cookers choice to be turned in as a tie breaker (supplied by cooking team)
  15. ONLY MAIN COOKERS (THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR PLACING AND REMOVING EQUIPMENT) ARE ALLOWED TO PARK AT/NEAR THEIR COOK SITE! FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND/OR VISITORS ARE TO PARK IN DESIGNATED FESTIVAL PARKING AREAS!
